My table runner is finished!
I am giving myself a Whoop! Whoop!
It will be a Christmas present, along with 12 matching placemats (to be done) to my DS & DIL.....family of 8.
After quilting it, I decided to round the corners..I think it gives it a softer look.
I found this design on another blog,,,sorry, don't remember where, but loved it. It's easy to make and very striking..may pick out more fabric and make another one for Christmas...
Looking forward to seeing others who Whoop it up on Sarah's blog.
i really like it - a great use of the fabrics.
ReplyDeleteYipee! One down, 12 to go! Makes me hungry looking at all those 'food' fabrics.
ReplyDeleteOh that's lovely, what a good idea for Christmas presents.
ReplyDeleteGreat gift - love all the fruit/veg fabric in this.
ReplyDeleteThat is great!! Love the fabric choices for a table runner. Can't wait to see it with the placemats.

ReplyDeleteIt is very striking. That will be quite a pretty set.
ReplyDeleteI love your table topper. It will be a great gift combined with the place mats. This week, I have been cutting squares from fruits and vegetables to make a table runner for my kitchen. I hope mine turns out as well as yours did.
ReplyDelete"Family of 8" will love these ;-)
ReplyDeleteThat's really nice! I love HSTs - there are so many things you can do with them, but this straightforward design is so striking.
ReplyDeleteRounding the corners is a great idea on those smaller projects! Great start on Christmas '12.
ReplyDeleteThat's so pretty - and I love the rounded corners! Whoop whoop!!
