We have been married 46 years today! Ohh, the stories I could tell! Many experiences and discussions....Much love and compromise....and oh so many memories.....
And currently, another anniversary of a different sort....
It has been one month since I started my No More Fabric Until 2013 status! Remember I did give myself an out...it is really No More Fabric Unless I Really, Really Need It...
Staying sane one day at a time re: both commitments......

Happy Anniversary! Today is my daughter's 6th birthday, so I happen to think June 11 is a very blessed date :-).
I started a Fabric Fast this year as well. It has been incredibly difficult but at the same time, a bit of a fun challenge. I am not allowed to buy *any* fabric, unless something is specifically requested for a charity piece. I did buy 3 yards of fabric a few weeks back... but only because the block (a memory block) required fabrics with a horse, Mickey & Pluto, and a dog.
I am finding creative ways to "find" fabric around my house... like some of my daughter's out-grown dresses... husband's stained dress shirts... all those things I might not have considered in the past. My stash is still HUGE but it has been a lot of fun to see what new combinations I can come up with, with just the pieces I have.
