Back Home....CatchUp Time

As is usual,  there are many First Things to be done once you return from a trip.

And as usual, I am regulating them to secondary status while I review the happenings of the last 2 weeks or so....

We saw our grandchildren,,,,,and children and spouses....Great time was had by all...pictures of a personal nature (kids, etc) were taken and admired and will be passed around family for weeks to come.

I did not go to any quilt stores on the way, although it was tempting...I realized we had to eat and pay bills when we got home.  I did take a couple of things to work on in the evenings at the motels and did make a small start on one of them...slow progress..cannot work in the car...we needed all 4 of our eyes on this trip.

I ran across one(1) quilt on the wall of a Bob Evans Restaurant in Hagerstown, MD...or was it Bridgeport WV??? Memory loss again. DH says Hagerstown so we will go with that for now....definitely a Bob Evans though...

I felt the quiltiness all through the trip and thought of you guys a lot, wondering if I was within a few miles of some of you...

Here are a few towns we went through on our trip from Texas to Kentucky and Northern Virginia...Imagine a virtual wave from yours truly as you read.....

....Texarkana TX...Little Rock AR..Jackson TN.. Elizabethtown KY.. Florence KY.. Athens OH..Parkersburg WV..Bridgeport WV.. Falls Church VA..Wythesville VA.. Kingsport TN..Sweetwater TN.. Knoxville TN..Meridian MS.. Jackson MS..Monroe LA.. Shreveport LA.

Now home...have to check on the washer/dryer, start on a couple of quilts I need to finish the binding/labels on and go on with life.

Oh, BTW, we came home with internet wiring issues. The computer is fine but we find we need a replacement/update on some of our internet hard electronic parts..hopefully will be fixed by tomorrow morning.. in the meantime, I have to continually restart the internet which lasts a short time each time...

Welcome back! It sounds like a wonderful trip! I admire your self control - I would have stop at every quilt shop on the way (and probably go without eating for a while after that!!!).
